Fay Hope, ND • serving Whidbey Island, WA and surrounding cities

“I take the time to listen”

My name is Dr. Fay Hope, and I am an Naturopathic physician who graduated from Bastyr University and have been licensed to practice medicine since 1986.

I combine ‘state of the art’ lab testing with ‘good ole intuition’, knowledge, wisdom, and experience. Taking the time to listen to my clients problems whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.

I believe that integration of the whole being is important to healing. Finding balance in life whether it is in our diets, lifestyles, thoughts and/or emotions.

Along with the scientific I  bring into my relationships years of practicing as a midwife, studies in the psychology of prenatal and birth trauma, and many years of counseling all ages and genders.

I don't just treat the symptoms. I believe that it is necessary to see each person as a whole being with many factors that contribute to their condition. In order for a person to be healthy they must bring balance and healing to all aspects of the self.

A large part of my practice has been in colon therapy. My education in this area began in 1979 in northern California and I have found this to be a very important part of my practice of medicine. Believing that a toxic and stagnant system can not heal, over the years I have worked with many and diverse problems of the digestive system.

I also specialize in the problems specific to women, from PMS to Menopause, and using bio-identical hormones (natural) to help bring about balance. I'm very excited to include amino acid therapy in my practice for the treatment of mood disorders. From anxiety to depression, insomnia, and fatigue. This is an added bonus to my work with stress related problems.

Currently I am furthering my education in therapeutic injections which includes Neuro therapy for the treatment of pain and scar release, and IV nutrient therapy for many acute and chronic conditions.

I believe that part of my purpose in life is to give service where needed. I serve several groups of people doing pro-bono work. This service is with a small village of people in Mexico, a native American community in Colorado, and a group in Zimbabwe. I love my work and find that many of my clients become friends and I feel  blessed by Creator to be given a way to serve others and give back for all I have been given.
